The LGBTQ+ Pride Center is dedicated to connecting and building community. To that end, not only is the center a space where LGBTQ+ folx and our allies can come to build community, folx can also connect with organizations created specifically to engage our community.

Undergraduate Organizations
- Lambda Alliance is a safe space for queer and trans individuals to be themselves and utilize it as needed. As a registered club and organization, we celebrate the intersectionality of queer and trans identity. In doing so, we advocate against oppressions to build towards queer and trans liberation. We also provides the tools for straight and cisgender allies to advocate alongside the queer and trans community. We strengthen community partly by hosting social events and promoting learning opportunities. We recognize that individuals are at different moments in coming out to themselves and hope to support them in their journey.
Queer and Trans People of Color at UC Merced
- Queer and Trans People of Color (QTPOC) Leadership Board for 2020-2021 Application is open! We are looking for Queer and/or Trans People of Color individuals who are committed and passionate to create a safe and empowering space AND achieve social justice for QTPOC community in Merced. We expect communication, transparency, and willingness to commit to co-creating a new group.
Graduate Organizations
- The Queer Action Committee (QuAC!) of UC Merced goal is to foster an inclusive environment for queer graduate students because there are currently no such services for us. Post-docs, staff, and faculty are also welcome!
